Schedules Direct Problem Part 2

I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden I get the following error. (see gif image)

I tried to reinstall, I checked Schedules Direct. I had not changed anything except for a new router, so I checked directly through the modem, still nothing. The only change was it was a "(500) internal server error" and now it's not.

I know that there was a patch at one time, I had installed it, but I am sure it's part of all the new versions for probably a year now.

Anybody got a clue on this one?

I'm getting the same error. I removed a tuner then shutdown GBPVR, started it up again, added the tuner and got this message. I know this happened before and it went away after awhile. Now it's not.
Updating the EPG on the other tuners worked fine.

It sounds like something happening on the Schedules Direct end. I'm guessing it'll go away by itself, but you could try logging in to the SD website and making sure your lineup is still there. Some people have had this problem when then lineup disappeared.

I had already tried to logon at SD, and everything was normal there. I tried using the SD XMLTV and that worked. I thought that maybe it was my new router or the "new" motherboard (it was nearly identical to the old one, cards put into the same pci slots). Of note, the XMLTV listings are all jumbled and not numerically ordered for some reason, btw.

I tried again this morning and still no go. We don't need the SD patch anymore do we?

I'm not sure what SD patch is you're referring to.

Using updates works for me but after removing a tuner and adding it again, I still get the error message when trying the EPG update. I'll try again when I get home but I checked my lineup on SD and all is good. I also made absolutely sure it wasn't my poor typing too.

I'm not having any luck at all getting the EPG to update without the above error. I'll uninstall and clean up and see what happens. The real odd thing is that it updates just fine in the app, it's just when adding a tuner that I get this error.

Uninstalled, nuked the directory and installed fresh. Now not even my PVR500's can get the epg updated. I removed and added a tuner in another machine and it worked just fine. I'm at a total loss as to why this one won't work.

I switched to XMLTV for a bit until this can be resolved. If nothing happens by the time sub comes back, I'll bump it to get some help. I'm mystified.

As a sanity check, are you guys using your username or email address as your login? Also, if you are limiting the lineup, are you separating it from the username with a semicolon?
