EPG and Card Capture

I'm having difficulties setting up my card. I'm trying to "map my digital channels to EPG channels" but I for some reason my xmltv.xml file doesn't give any information in the "tuning requests" column. I went the xmltv_exe route using SchedulesDirect with no success.

I'm trying to setup a digital recording from QAM using a KWorld usb tuner. I've switched the settings on the registry to a "2" but every time I do a channel scan it only wants to do the OTA scan from 1-60 or whatever it does.

I'm pretty sure it's the tuning request column having no information is what is screwing me up. I would really appreciate your help.

There's never any information in that column until you have done a scan. You have to "map digital channels" to start the scan.

This is because the card you've chose is defined as an ATSC card. Its only those with "QAM" in the name (and appropriate TUNING_SPECIAL setting in bda.ini file) that scan the QAM frequencies.
