DVD menu item selector not displayed

Do I need to look under the "DirectShow Filters" item in the "DX Cat" dropdown list?

Added "CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD8)" to <SupportedDVDDecoders>
Added "CyberLink DVD Navigator (PDVD8)" to <SupportedDVDNavigators>

Where do you get the latest version? Google found 1.0.0.3 from 2006. There has to be newer than that.

Here is my advice:

Try VMR9 rendered + MS DVD navigator + Cyberling PowerDVD8 MPEG2 decoder + MPA audio decoder.

No need to install whole Power DVD, you can register just MPEG2 decoder.

My DVD's working like a charm...

Settings 1:
DVD->Navigator: CyberLink DVD Navigator (PDVD8)
DVD->Video Decoder: CyberLink Video/SP Decoder
Run PVRX2, select DVD from main menu, had blank screen and no audio.

Settings 2:
DVD->Navigator: DVD Navigator
DVD->Video Decoder: CyberLink Video/SP Decoder
Run PVRX2, select DVD from main menu, had video, audio, but no DVD menu item selector.

Downloaded the program, put CLVsd.ax in gbpvr dir, ran .reg file, config.exe didn't give me new choices for Video Decoder and Audio Decoder or ones that resemble your names.

What does your <SupportedDVDNavigators> and <SupportedDVDDecoders> in config.xml look like?

What does the DirectShow Filter app that sub gave a link to say for "DX Cat: DirectShow Filters"?

Tried regsvr32.exe Mpeg2DecFilter.ax (from Gabest MPV decoder) and it works. Don't know what changed in GBPVR 1.3.11 to make only MPV Decoder work for DVD menu item selector.

Select VMR9 as renderer (not EVR).

I've always had VMR Custom selected.
