I am trying to set up GB-PVR with Avermedia M150. Now I get videos from Tunning Assistant. However I cannot get it up for following 2 problems

1. Trying to Watch Live TV gets "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" popup.
2. TV Guide has no content with following xml file.
<tv>
<channel id="HBO">
<display-name>HBO</display-name>
</channel>
<programme channel="HBO" start="20050501011500 CST">
<title>Matrix</title>
</programme>
</tv>

How to solve them ?

Thanks,
Andy

1) disable live preview mode on the misc tab of the config app. This may help. Live Preview mode definitly wont work on the M150.

2) Where is the end time for your programme? If (like your example) its not explicitly stated, it'll try and work it out based on the start time of the next show, but in this case there is no next show listed, so this show will be discarded because the end time cant be determined.

Thanks for tips.
1) Now it hangs at "starting timeshifting mode tv. please wait" and takes all cpu power.
2) Actually I put two channels and several programs for one day in the xml file. None of those programs shows up.

This is a long shot, but my gbpvr hanged at starting a show (not in live, but a recorded one) and took al the cpu. This seemed to be because I tried using the cyberlink decoder for decoding the sound. I changed decoder for the sound, and then it worked again.

Good shot, thanks.

Now the Live TV works.
I am still working on the xmltv feed-in.

I have a similar problem, where GBPVR hangs when trying to enter timeshift mode. I hoped that I could solve the problem by also disabling the cyberlink decoder, as stefan described above. But where should it be disabled? I can't find it in the GBPVR configuration util. Could someone guide me on the way.

See the thread where I describe my problem and setup her:

If you don't have it installed you can't disable it :-)
Look here:
http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...igPlayback
There you see two dropdowns regarding video/audio decoder. Look and see if you change any of them. You can also try using another option of vmr9/vmr7/overlay to see if that affects your system in any way.
