Martin: have made a test recording on HD. Skipping for- and backward without problem. Resume however still gives a black screen. The NMT does not react to anything. After waiting about one minute I have reset the NMT.
Logfiles up to the crash and immediately after the crash are attached.
If you want me to repeat with telnet session, just let me know.

TSDoctor did not find errors due to scrambled packages but that is no guarantee Big Grin
I shall put the file through TSDoctor and normalise the output file. It should than also correct any time errors. See if that gives any succes.

Edit: even after cleanup by TSDoctor it would not resume. I have noticed the following in the TSDoctor logfile:

Cut in at PCR: 00:00:00.000 (16:08:28.300)
Cut out at PCR: 00:58:13.702 (17:06:42.002)

Is that the reason for the timejump, i.e. is mvpmcx2 assuming the TS file starts with 00:00 while actualy it starts with the real/recording time?

mvpmcx2 doesn't assume it sends GBPVR the actual normalized PTS in the file. I can't do much without another 100 MB sample of the original file. I don't want the TSDoctor output.

Before I upload another 100MB:
played another HD file in Recordings, skipped 20 minutes and stopped it. Went to video Library and resumed the file without any problem. Went to recordings and the the file still resumed o.k. Stopped it (still in recordings) started a resume (still in recordings) and it crashed :confused:
Here something very funny is happening and I am now going to doubt that is has anything to do with the TS file but that the cause is somewhere in the logic.

Edit: have repeated several times stopping and resuming in Video Library: no problems at all! So what is the difference in logic between resuming in Video Library and Recordings?

I am not saying the logic is perfect, but how do you expect me to debug this without a sample? The logic is is much simpler from the Video Library, but everything you just wrote can be explained by bad PTS values in the beginning of the file.

your sample resumes fine for me. I also tried using the --pref-lang dut option to give dutch audio streams priority and that worked too.

I assume that you tested it in recordings and not in video library because there it works without any problems.
Can there be anything different in the setup of GB-PVR and mvpmcx2 at your side and in my situation? Different versions of pvrx2, certain settings in config.xml etc.?
