Qam scanning problems with 1.4.7

I decided to upgrade to Win 7 this weekend and figured I would try out 1.4.7. Everything was a fresh install. I am having problems scanning channels with my Technisat AirStar-HD5000. This device worked perfectly with 1.3.11 and Vista but when I try to scan with 1.4.7, I get nothing. I thought maybe it was a Win 7 driver issue but when I uninstalled 1.4.7 and tried 1.3.11 on the new Win 7 machine, everything worked fine. It found all my clear qam channels without an issue. I have attached logs from right after the scan in 1.3.11 and right after the scan in 1.4.7. Any ideas what is going wrong?

Try changing the <BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds> to 3 and <BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds> to 25 in config.xml. (Use Notepad not wordpad).

I did a test and installed 1.3.11, scanned and found all the channels. I watched a channel just to make sure everything worked properly and it did. Then I immediately upgraded to 1.4.7. All my info from the scan was saved but when I tried to watch a channel I got just a black screen. I have attached the logs from right after trying to watch the channel in 1.4.7. Any ideas?

I just never seems to find a signal on Windows 7. Are there other drivers you can try?

No other drivers for Win7 but everything works fine on Win7 with 1.3.11. I just can seem to get anything with 1.4.7 on Win7, so I figured it has something to do with 1.4.7.

I'm not in a position make patches for 1.4.7 any more, but if the problem is still occurring in the next release, I'll make some patches so we can take a closer look at what is happening. In the meantime, if you really need that device you might need to stick to 1.3.11.

Thanks sub, will use 1.3.11 until the new release and will try again with that release.
