No LiveTV on PCH

Hi,

I've been searching the forum, but haven't found a solution yet. I'm not that big of an expert on networks, so here I go:

GBPVR is running perfectly on my PCH-A100, except for LiveTV. I'm running Win7 x64 and a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500. TV comes in through analogue cable. The EPG is up and running and updated.
But when trying to view LiveTV, I just get static.
In Windows Media Center, TV works, altough not fluently...

I have the feeling I'm overlooking a setting in the config.

Your logs are a bit short and don't cover too much time. All logs and a note of the date/time you are trying to view livetv could help pin it down.

One thought - the PVR500 is a dual tuner isn't it? if you have two recording sources set up in config then they are selected differently for recordings and live TV. For recordings the tuners are used top down and for live TV are used bottom up. If your lower tuner/source is incorrectly setup it could show the symptoms you have.

I attached all the logs and the config.xml.

It is a dual tuner idd.

I hadn't configured the two tuners. The settings I have for both of them now:

WinTV 500
Analog Recording Pugin*
XMLTV Plugin
No Channel Changer Required

*Hauppauge PVR500 With FM Tuner
Belgium
Capture Device #1 (#2 in the settings of the second tuner)
Internal Tuner --> Cable
High Quality

Do I have to change settings in the Playback Tab? Because everything is set to System Default, except PVRX2.exe Video Renderer is set to VMR9 Custom.

None of the setting for playback on the PC affect playback on the PCH. As martin123 wrote this looks like a configuration issue not related to mvpmcx2. Hopefully someone who knows the PVR 500 can help.

Mmm,

LiveTV is suddenly working... (partially). I've discovered that playing LiveTV on GBPVR after a cold boot gives static on PC en PCH. But when I opened Windows Media Center to test the TV signal, which worked, afterwards LiveTV on GB-PVR worked on PC and PCH (inferior quality though :-(), but only on the last channel I used in Media Center. Other channels didn't work.

Is this a driver issue?

can anybody help me , Win7 64bit, NOVA T-500, HDTANK M32B, MONOGRAM AAC Decoder, In Windows Media Center everything working well, but GBPVR no audio, only TV3 with AC3, picture is ok any channel , I'm pulling my hair out !

assume thats like pch / egreat?

If it's on that client, and you are using freeview|HD, then I don't think get audio except TV3 as it cannot get decoded by the PCH/NMT/Egreat devices (they don't use any codecs on your PC like monogram)
I'm currently setting up some post processing batch file to transcode all the AAC to AC3 while keeping sync, and allowing proper skipping within the file.

edit: looking at your logsm you must be using freeviewHD, so you are out of luck.

This link has some scripting which the poster has done to check if the audio is AAC in a file, and if it is convert to AC3.
