I've got an ATI4650 and there is only one way to get it hardware decode the H264 files: the powerDVD codec.
Until yesterday GPVR has worked perfectly with the Powerdvd 9 codec for the H264, but today I update the PowerDVD 9 to the latest patch. Now DVDs still work perfectly, but no video with H264 HD files.
Obviusly PowerDVD 9 (latest) works perfectly with H264.
Any advice?

Thank you in advance

Apparently some versions of the Cyberlink H.264 decoders dont work in 3rd party apps, and you may now have one of those versions.

thank you sub for the quick reply, even if the ansewer is sad....

The cause I update the PowerDVD is in order to see my AVDCHDs. Is there any way to see them (with menu etc) with GBPVR ?

If you go back to an earlier version (when it worked), you can take a copy of the VideoFilter folder and keep it separate. Then when you update to the latest version - and lose the ability to use the codecs - run "regsvr32 cl264dec.ax" on the folder you saved and it should work.

Or use PDVD 10 decoder in GB-PVR and keep PDVD9 to play BlueRay.
