tv button on remote brings up wintv

Does anyone know how i can change my remote tv button so gbpvr live tv starts instead of wintv live tv. Im using the 45 button remote for wintv 150.

checkout IRREMOTE.INI located in c:\windows
in the default section you you can change the behaviour any button and put gbpvr.exe in it's place

Hello, thank you, i tried replacing the .exe file and still no-go. Since then i have uninstalled wintv application, now pressing tv button in gbpvr main menu does nothing. Is it suppose to bring up LiveTV? I can press the F2 button on keyboard and it brings up the liveTV, just not on the remote. looking in the irremote file near the end of file i see the gbpvr mappings and it does show the tv={f2}. Just a note of the four buttons on the remote(tv,video,music,pictures) only the video button works. The remote does work with other buttons fine, its those four im wondering about it.

Edit the irremote.ini file. In the [default] section, place a semicolon at the start of the TVNEW line.

In the [GBPVR] section, change the TV={F2} to TVNEW={F2}

Hauppauge have changed some things I implemented this, but the next version of GB-PVR will make these changes automatically.

Pictures shouldnt do anything, as there is no pictures functionality built into GB-PVR. You can do this by downloading MyPictures and editing the config.xml. See the search button for details.

This only leaves the music button. Are you sure this button is not working for you?

Thank you, got the tv button to work that was it. Also, my music does work, it was taking a bit to parse the files in directory. Lastly, i do have mypictures loaded and runnning, i cant find anything in the fourms when i do searches pertaining to editing the config.xml file to get the picture button enabled so it opens my pictures, could you lend a hand with that (or link). thank you for your help so far....i can use notepad to edit the xml file right?
