@videolog if you are running SageTV then you already have OpenDCT running so the extra method should work, if you want to run unmodifed without replacing the jar file just use tuner 1

I will give that a try. But I am curious about spoofing the ceton to look like an HD Homerun, and the possibilities that creates.

I have been following this thread as I have the InfinTV 6 Pci, that has served me well using SageTV. I would like to use NextPvr v5, and your utility looks very interesting. I tried running the file as you outlined but I get a fastMM4 memory error. I have no idea what that is or how to remedy it.

I also believe your little utility would benefit many as you can't buy any cable card tuners at the moment. The HD HomeRun prime 6 is delayed.

Sorry about that error -- left over debugging.  I put up a new version.  We might need a little back and forth to get it working in your case, but if you're interested, submit an issue on github or PM me and we can work through it.

 I ran through all the steps as to outlined. I did not replace the jar you you suggested here. I am getting "streaming

failed (transcoder exited)"

Go to Settings and click the Log Files button to get the .zip file with all of the logs from the NextPVR server.

It looks ok at both ends just tuner 1 wasn't the first one one returned from opendct.  Look in the xml files for the one showing on the low port I think that is 7819.

With the modified jar file it changes ports
