Hello,

I upgraded to the latest version (0.93.10) and am having a problem recording.

I have two HP500 boards in an XP pro box. After installing the new version, I went to configure my capture devices and found the program thinks I have six devices (rather than the four that Windows reports).

I configured all four devices but when I record I only get a captured signal on one of them (I don't know which one) -- the other three are just static.

Do you know why GBPVR is reporting 6 devices?
How can I reset this?
Would this cause my problem -- might it be "confused"?
I configured them as 500/w FM (the default suggested 150) - might that be the issue?

As you can see I have lots of thoughts but no real suggestions.

Please advise,
Joe

p.s. Is there any way to know which capture device was used to record a show?

That version is old. The current version is v0.94.12.

What makes you think its got 6? How many do you have listed in the config app?

OK, I'll upgrade to 0.94.12.

6 devices:
Run Config; Capture Sources tab; highlight first capture device; click edit;
click Recording Source Settings;
Board Number dropdown shows Capture device #1 thru #6

Is there another way to determine this?

GB-PVR is not reporting you have six devices. It always show this. GB-PVR supports up to six devices of the same type, but you have to manually select which device number it is.

If you installed two PVR500s, then you need to setup four capture sources, one for each device from #1 to #4.
