That did the trick.

The scrolling through recordings and menus seems quicker on this one, the skip feature is possibly not quite as quick, and there is slight stuttering when it picks up play again. For some reason the commerical skip points on all the other clients are not as good as subs Kodi client, they all get out of time, however at the moment my recordings are glitching a bit which is probably causing it, but I guess that doesn't explain why subs Kodi one doesn't.

I don't know about nlite with LAV but I know skipping logic in Kodi is more sophisticated then any of the rough approximations in UI clients I've written. That being said, I use uidroid much more than pvr.nextpvr these days and don't notice any noticable differences with comskip or skipping in general.

A thought occurs, if the advanced version of Nlite gets updated, how do I find it, only one I see a link too is the basic version?

nlite has not been officially launched so the documentation is missing for sure.

The sticky "NLite Build" post at the top of the Nlite forum has the link to https://nextpvr.com/client.zip, which is the more advanced Windows NLite client.

Thanks for the replies. I'll keep an eye on it, it's a really handy version for users who have been on npvr 4x for a long time!
