USBUIRT Problems

There probably is a pattern, but its not easy to see. I'm sure its somehow related to the USB-UIRT being used in two different processes (GBPVR.exe and GBPVRRecordingService.exe), and I'm guess the pattern is some how related to switching between the two.

You could try setting <RecycleUSBUIRT>true</RecycleUSBUIRT> in config.xml. It might help.

Still waiting for it to go wrong again...

It's been running OK for 2 days now and USB-UIRT is still working. It was going wrong at least twice per day! Must be a bit like toothach - disappears when you plan a trip to the dentist!

So far yes. I haven't done anything different or changed any settings etc. yet it hasn't gone wrong now for about a week!

The log looks fine. I take you didnt have any luck spotting the pattern?

No luck at all. In this instance I'd been watching a pre-recorded show, then went back to the TV guide, selected a channel to watch and... nothing from USBUIRT.
