Ok, I've been trying this for 5 days now, but was hoping someone would put me out of my misery before I waste any more time on it.

I'm using Hauppage Nova-T USB2 for digital freeview. I can't get it to find all the channels, even when I scan all transmitters (WinTV find them all no problem). Also, and more importantly, I can't view as it is trying to find a non existant DLL for IR Remote. Hauppage defualt doesn't work (even after doing the fix thing).

What I'm thinking is that this program just doesn't work with the new card - could someone else confirm this? It would be a shame, as the bundled software is dreadful.

Thanks Smile

EDIT: Forgot to say I *have* read this post and to no avail Sad

I have the nova-t usb2 and it worked out of the box for me, but I downloaded the latest drivers from hauppauge (2.3 I think) and didn't install the wintv app. On the channels part which ones are you missing as it is possible you can't pick up a mux?

Oh, I have it working spot on with WinTV software, it's just I can't use any of the PVR software, even after selecting it in BDA. It gives an error saying it cannot see the DLL irblast.dll (or similar), which isn't surprising, since this incarnation of the wintTV doesn't have any such DLL Sad

It's WinTV nova-T USB2, model 93000 rev BBA2. I'm using the latest drivers from Hauppage (the ones that are absolutely hellish to install and require registry deletions when you upgrade).

I like the idea of the thing, but Hauppage software is dreadful, right down to the installers. Anyway - just hoping to find out if I can get PVR to work as a viewer, recorder instead - hopefully someone know the answer Smile

This is because you have configured your capture source to use the 'Hauppauge IR Blaster' channel changer. Hauppauge only supply the IR Blaster with the PVR150. It is for changing channels on external set top cable/satellite boxes, which is obviously not what you want to do. Set the channel changer to 'None' and try again.
