Well, I tried uploading my xmltv file but it got stuck saying 'Uploading files, please wait" then I noticed that the file is 40mb. I tried with a smaller file (100k - which was produced by doing the exact same thing... I don't know why) and it said 'Invalid file'.

40mb? I'm at work and can't check, but that sounds huge! Why don't you try and start simply and only configure your XMLTV source to only get info for one channel.

Try again with the Radio Times Grabber - it really does make it easy, and post the file output from that.

OK, I ran the Radio times grabber after configuring it to only grab BBC1 and got a 235k data.xml file, but I can't attatch that because it is an 'invalid file'. I tried copying and pasting into notepad but it was too big to upload.

Gah, this is making me feel realy stupid!

Try renaming it .txt and see if that works.

It's still 235k when I do that and I can only attatch 19.4k (apparently).

OK, I didn't realise there was such a small file size limit.

How about a different tack, is the BLEB plugin still available (under EPG source - I've not used it in ages) you could try that instead.

Select it, configure it! I can't be more specific as I'm not at home right now.

I selected the BLEB (UK) option under EPG source, and it seemed to work, loaded up all the channels, but I still get the error message!

Do i need to tick all the 'enabled' boxes?

I thought screen shots might help in case I'm not mentioning an important detail;

The Error Message
The Capture Settings
XML File
Channels Tab

This is all with the output file of the 'Radio Times XML TV grabber' program configured for BBC 1 only.

EDIT; hey this is even weirder! I can see the TV guide for BBC 1 in the 'search guide' section!

Weird
