XRecord and Rename Recording

Anyone know the answer to this one?

Does the "export" feature of Xrecord, and rename recording work together?

I use the xrecord xexport feature in my postprocessing.bat to export my show info to a file. If I run rename recording in my pp.bat after the xexport command, will it also rename the dat file?

I know it will rename the comskip file, but I'm not sure about the export.dat

Never mind. I tried it myself to see what would happen. It seems to work. Pretty damn cool.
