I have a PVR-350 and I've setup the EPG Source to zap2it. I've created the account successfult however everytime I update it takes about 20 or 30 mins and says it has an error and to check the EPG source. Is there a possibility that if the right Capture source isn't chosen it won't work right? Also I did check that the username and password are correct so the obvious is taken care of [Image: smile.gif] Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah and I did log into zap2it and set up a lineup for my local area.

Hi aissakoo,

it was labs.zap2it.com you setup your account on? Just checking as this has caught some people out.

Cheers,
Colin.

Do you have a firewall that could be blocking GB-PVRs access to the zap2it website?

Well I am routing through a linksys box to share internet but nothing like a Zone Alarm or Symantec Firewall. Should I try a straight through connection? Didn't think I needed to do that. If this does work I don't have to keep updating it will just to watch TV?

No, from the look of your logs it appears to be something malformed in the XML. I've emailed you asking for your zap2it account details so I can run it up in the debugger.

Hmmm...I worked for me. All you channels imported fine. It took about 10 minutes.

Are you on a slow network link?

Can you try logging into labs.zap2it.com and changing you channel line up to only include a couple of channels, then try reimporting and let me know what happens?

Problem solved it was the cable home-made and too long [Image: smile.gif]

I guess it has problems connecting with to much of an error rate. Well at least a new lesson has been learned. The router is not a factor.

Thanks for all your help guys.
