I wont start using for anything immediately, but will sometime in the future. The software started out as a analog TV program, then I tacked on a few DVB extensions. Retrofitting some of this stuff is hard. GB-PVR already has ways it deals with most of this stuff, and that stuff needs to keep working for the analog folk. If it had been designed from the onset as soley a DVB application, things would have been much easier.
And, most usefully, the Running Status Table which is well-used to provide up-to-date information about programmes (e.g. if they are over-running etc). It even provides a "starts in a few seconds" signal. Isn't this information ideal for PVR purposes? The "few seconds" giving enough time to start the recording process.
