Having recently upgraded to 95.16 I decided it was time to have a sort out and try and run all of my cards through GBPVR.
I had no problems setting up my pvr 150 fed from a Sky digital box using Radio Times XMLTV.
However, I haven't yet managed to get my Twinhan DVB-s card working again (usual problems which I hope to be able to sort out with a bit of perseverance).
What is causing me the biggest headache, however, is that when I try and remove one of the non working capture sources, after I click on the OK button to leave Config and save changes, the Config app just locks and the only way to get out is with the task manager.

Anybody got any ideas that might help please?

Can you reproduce the problem then post your conifg.exe.log?

Hi Sub,

Config.exe.log attached.
If I try and open it before I force the config app to close I get the message 'The document .......... is in use by another application and can not be accessed' so this is the log after I've closed it down.

Thanks,

Nick

I would have expected to see an error in the if you tried to delete the captures but it wouldnt go anywhere, but unfortunately there isnt a message like this, so I dont really know.

Thanks for having a look anyway Sub.
If I work out what is causing the problem I'll post my findings.
I've so far uninstalled .Net 2.0, uninstalled and re-installed .Net 1.1 and installed 95.16 from scratch several times.
I've downloaded the latest drivers (1.2.2.7) for my Twinham DVB-S card and made sure the BDA.ini file has the correct names in.
When I start with a new installation of GBPVR it is quite happy to delete capture sources.
The problem seems to arise if I try and install a BDA capture device and it doesn't complete the channel mapping properly (sometimes it stops half way through searching for channels, sometimes it finds the channels but then locks on pressing OK after enabling channels, and occasionally it makes it all the way through, and I actually get the channels in the TV guide).

Just wanted to post that I too am getting Config locking up while trying to remove capture sources, since upgrading to 95.16

The CPU shoots to 50% (HT CPU so max is 50%) and just stays (Not responding) there no matter how long I leave it.

I have to actually un-install and re-install so that I can remove the sources and add them again (because for some reason every two weeks, one of them will stop working)

My basic Set-up:

2 x PVR-150
3.2 GB Intel HT CPU
2 GB OCZ RAM

it's really getting fustrating, first having to continously fix the one card when it only records black screens, and then having issues even trying to fix it.
