Try deleting all the plugins from the plugins dll. Disabling them wont be enough.

This was the problem i had (ado error on install), i had deleted the whole DIR and restarted making sure the service had gone and still got the error. Went back to 0.22 (after removing the new 0.23 DIR and removing) and is now ok (on 0.22).

Excellent! Works great now. I haven't been able to play around with the new version much yet, but already I love the resolve conflicts functionality! Thanks, Sub! :D

I've looked at this error last night and have made a slight change to correct the problem for the next version of the setup script.

With the current release version (v0.23.8), if you're on XP you can just safely ignore the error. If your on Windows 2000, you'll need to installed MDAC 2.8 before installing GB-PVR. I'll add this to the list of pre-requisites.

Thanks Sub! i can now ffw/rev live tv... (but only in 30 sec increments?).

haven't checked my file sizes.. but variable bit rates is haven't shown any artifacts.

The problem with the viideo archive plugin is that the name it uses for its button (Recordings) is the same name as used by the built-in recordings button. This version of GBPVR does not allow multiple buttons with the same name, whereas previous buttons did. I have updated the plug-in and will send it to sub later tonight after I do a bit more testing. The new version has lots of changes and improvements (faster, more skinable, ability to lists DVDs by genre as well as directory, option to confirm deletes). I've been using it for a few weeks now with the previous release of GBPVTR and all seems stable, but I want to run it with the current version of GBPVR for at least one more day before setting it loose. Also, I have just added the button name as a parameter in the skin file so that if there are future conflicts you can easily rename the name used by the plug-in. I've renamed it "Videos" as a default. I've also just updated the plug-in to copy its skin file from the blue skin subdirectory if no skin file is found in the active skin. This should let it run automatically will all new skins.
