Hello all and thanks in advance for your help. I have been reading this forum for several hours to find an answer, but no luck so I hope you can help.

Config: Twinhan 1020 PCI with BDA Driver 1.2.3.0 (also tried with 1.2.3.1). Created an entry in bda.ini to match the device name found with GraphEdit:

[Twinhan DVB-S New]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=DTV-DVBS 878 Digital Tuner Filter
FILTER_CAPTURE=DTV-DVBS 878 Digital Capture Filter
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

When mapping digital channels to EPG I get the "unable to start BDA" error. I have attached the config.exe.log file. Am I missing something?

By the way - the card is working fine with MyTheatre, ProgDVB, etc. Tested on Echostar 6/8 (110 degrees) which matches Echostar 5 in the list of birds in GB-PVR.

Can you zip and attach your config.exe-native.log file?

Thanks for the quick reply.

I scanned the native log and a reference to "c:\test.mpg"

This computer doesn't have a drive letter c:\ (long story, several attempts with MCE...)

I'll create a partition, label it C, and try again.

Here's the log in case you see anything else.

Unfortunately, creating a C drive didn't solve it. I've attached both logs.

The cause isnt obvious in the logs, but I can see it dying midway though the card initialization.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was be caused by the non-standard installation directory. I dont intentionally require the original drive, but I also dont actively test installation to other locations/drives.

Good point. I'll wipe-out my installation and re-install with a standard setup.
