I keep getting an error saying "Error: No connection can be made because the target machine actively refused it" What does this mean and how can I fix it? Thanks
It means you have a firewall in the way somewhere. You can fix it by either disabling the firewall (might not want to do that) or configuring it to let gbpvr talk to the recordingservice and/or to let the recordingservice accept incoming connections. Depends on your firewall, I guess.

In my case it was Norton Internet Security (which I despise and removed).
I have disaled both Norton antivirus and Zone alarm and it still gives me this error. Could this be a problemw ith it tryint to connect to the extra video source? I can't figure this out and its getting frustrating.
yes..I do have the service running..and yes I do have an updated Zap2it account. Now I am getting a different message it says "Error: Object Reference not set to an instance of an Object" could this be from the phantom video card?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.
