Hauppage remote probs after hibernate

Hello!

Just a small problem... when returning to windows xp after hibernate my
Hauppauge remote (45button) is not responding. A error mess like "failed to initialize remote" appears.
I am using the ir-reciver in my WinTV-NOVA-T-USB-2.
Is it the usb-connection that causes the trouble?

I do have a second tuner, PVR 150 but the ir-reciver on that card doesn´t work when WinTV-NOVA-T-USB-2 is installed.

Is there a way to choose wich ir-reciver to use and maybe the PVR150 works better after hibernate?

Have you tried selecting the "restart ir" option from within the hauppauge menu? if this works, you need use gbpvrwake.exe (search) to run this option after wakeup.

However, it may be that the nova-t has not initialised after startup. See this thread that i started somethime ago although my nova-t has decided to behave itself, so i no longer have to do this.

i think if u choose the ir install for the 150 (and uninstall the ir that came with the nova), this will work over the nova-t.
