I am having a problem getting gbpvr to recognize the FM tuner on my card. I have an Avermedia M150. I did download and regsvr32 the lame.ax file mentioned in an earlier posting. When I try to have gbpvr scan for stations is gives me an error saying "Unable to locate and available FM tuner". Yes, my card does have an FM tuner. It would be nice to use it. Any thoughts?

Try editing the direct.ini file, and add the following line into the [AverMedia M150] section. It might help. I dont have one of these devices, so FM radio has never been tested.

Thanks. That got gbpvr to recognize the tuner, but I still can't hear the audio. I can scan. I can set stations. I think I can do everything except listen. Any other ideas?

I hope I attatched this correctly. I had to change it from a *.log to a *.txt, but other than that I haven't touched it. Thanks again.

I cant see anything obvious in the logs, but you could try editing the config.xml and setting:

<ForceFMBufferingMode>true</ForceFMBufferingMode>

For this to work though, you need the LAME encoder filter from http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/directsho..._dshow.zip. Save it into a directory, and run "regsvr32 c:\path\to\lame.ax"

I tried the lame.ax trick again, but to no avail. I guess it just isn't going to work. The TV and everything else looks good though. Thanks for your help.
