Just installed version 0.19 on Windows XP Pro, I installed .net 1.1 runtime first then the program.

The main program runs but the config.exe program comes up with an error message..

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0x3c4 (964), Thread id 0x504 (1284).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

When I click cancel, another dialog appears say "Registered JIT debugger is not available. Error code of 0x2 (2).

cordbg.exe !a 0x3c4.

Any help on this is appreciated. The older version of gbpvr worked a while ago and this is a fresh install of XP Pro.

Visual Basic 6 runtime is also installed..

Thanks

Your description is for config.exe. Does it also do this for gbpvr.exe?

I've only ever seen a message like this when the .net v1.1 runtime wasn't installed. You sure you've got 1.1 not 1.0?

It only does it for config.exe. gbpvr.exe works fine. I will download .net 1.1 again and re-install it and see if that does anything...

If gbpvr.exe starts ok, then I suspect you .net install is fine.

I suspect an old version of the config.xml or gbpvr.mdb file is to blame. Try uninstalling GB-PVR. Delete the c:\program files\devnz directory. Then reinstall GB-PVR.
