New Version SLOW playback!

I uninstalled the previous version and installed the latest version yesterday. New one is faster on live TV but all recordings play horribly slow till they just stop. Tried the two shows I recorded in WMP and they play fine. Any idea what I've done??

Its probably the video decoders you're using. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log file and I'll take a look.

I have managed to get it working more or less as the old version used to. The decoders tip was were I started. The only one that works is the Cyberlink decoder. I've always used the System default or intervideo in the past. I have it set as follows, Cyberlink decoder, Custom VMR9 and Use FFDSHOW. Seems to be the only combo that works. I cannot use live preview, but never could before so thats not new. I'll try this for a while and see how it goes, and check back in case of any other suggestions.

Its most likely the Ligos audio decoder you're using thats causing problems.

Thanks for looking. I'll try changing the audio decoder to another option then system default. Ligos isn't even an option. I'll post results later tonight.

Right you are. As I figured you would be. Switched both video and audio to Intervideo and selected VMR9 and FFDSHOW as my first test. Works just fine in both playback situations. Live and recorded play smoothly. I would not have guessed to change the audio decoder as I have always used the system default.
