Hi sub. I've just done this on your music library to confirm it's not the ML2 plugin I wrote.

I start a song (it's a long one, 2 hours) - WindowMediaForAudio is turned off. This is fine.

I stop it fine. I start it again and the CPU jumps to 100%. I hit the stop button and the logs says it does.....but you can still hear it.

I don't think these logs show much, so is there anything you can think of i can provide you to help me look for the problem?

Version as the sig, 96.12 performed on PC (so I could get the logs). All actions taken via hauppauge remote (45)

Ok, bit more info here, it seems the cpu and the song keeps playing for x amount of time after stopping - was a couple of minutes, and it's just because these tracks are 2 hours long that it's so noticable.

Have just updated the music drivers and it still seems to do it. Started a song this time (2 hours again) and I couldn't stop it.

Can you list the exact steps to reproduce it with the built-in Music Library? Remember to indicate if you clicked on screen buttons for 'stop' etc, or whether you used keyboard shortcuts.

I had a quick try at reproducing it, but I guess I didnt do the exact same sequence.

All I was doing was start music Library, find the song then hit the play button on the remote. then stop

At this point it'd be lots of CPU, and the song would still be playing. Have to exit gbpvr to stop it.

Hey sub, this kinda sounds similar to my problem - http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=14704

After this entry (and because the music was still playing), I went to live tv, and it showed the livetv picture, but I was still getting the sound from the music track.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of other posts with a similar issue, so believe there is a problem, but I'm not sure what step I'm missing though, because it doesnt seem to be doing it for me.

Yeah and I shoved it on my Dev machine and it doesn't have the same problem.

Something to do with machine size?? Do you read through the whole file first, and only can stop once it's all been read once?? (The dev machine would be faster).

I've probably eliminated the drivers, and I agree with the thread I sent you, that everything else thinks music has stopped but you still hear the music.

WMP doesn't have any problems with the song (have you got one that long to try out?? 2 hrs or so??)

Can you try disabling all plugins using the check box in the config app and see if it still happens?

Tried that. Same thing. Song starts, then can't stop it, pressed stop lots, also stop the stop button.

Only way to stop is to shut down gbpvr.

Oh and a normal song does the same, normal in the sense on a couple of minutes.

Logs attached.
