Hi,

I used to take girder for my remote control, but since gbpvr has become the only pvr application on the computer, I've just switched over to use my hauppauge remote with the "use direct access" feature.

Everything is working fine, but there is one thing left to accomplish:
How do I start gbpvr with my remote? I know that I can use ir.exe from hcw, but I would prefer the direct-access way. And when ir.exe is running, the direct access stops working.

Maybe the recording service or GBPVRTray could listen to the "GRNPOWER" signal?
Or is it already possible to start gbpvr by direct access to the remote?

Sorry, there is no way to start GB-PVR from the remote when you're using the direct access option.

What would be the command line entry to start gbpvr in the pvr mode? If I run gbpvr.exe I get the mvp server. I was hoping to auto-run the pvr side too.

Thanks,

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'pvr mode'.

If you start "gbpvr.exe" it start the client on the PC desktop.

If you start "gbpvr.exe -mvpmode" it start an MVP server.
