MPV Servers restart itself in .97xx

I am using .9713 and noticed that MVP servers restart itself quite often during the day while I am not using it. I am using MVP tray icon and saw multiple icons in the tray when I got home. This possible caused by the MVP servers restart itself multiple times or the recording services restart itself. I don't see any one reports this behavior in this forum, so I want to see if anyone else beside me got this to find out the reason behind it.

I am also received more drop connection whenever I hit back/exit when I play video from MVP, but it reconnects after a few second.

Look in the logs and see if you see an security error around the MVP Service....I see this on one machine but not another.

changing the gbpvrecordingservice to run as a local account with admin rights that I created rather than the local system account fixed it on my one machine.

Me too....but for some reason when the servce is set to use the local system account (it gets set to this with each GBPVR install) to run rather than an individual account I see this exaxct behavoir.

Changing the option of the service to run by logging on as my user account rather than the local system account resolved it on that machine.

Mine has been popping up also with my new PC build. I didn't on my older PC but I don't think I had 97.9 on it. My new PC logs me in as the "administator".

I've been setting up HIP, and that also seems to bring up the MVPserver for some reason also which may or may not be related.

I think I found my problem and solution from this thread.

I unchecked the "Allow service to interact with desktop" in the Services - GB-PVR recording service and its not popping up anymore.
