Just for background, I'm using a Hauppauge 150 for my capture, and a Gainward GF3 with analog video out as my output card. The first question is directly GBPVR related, while the second two are more generalized setup issues. However everyone here seems very knowledgeable, so I hope it's okay to ask the second two questions here.

1. When I click on "Live TV" to see if I'm getting a signal through the coax in on the capture card, I get "Failed to locate configured capture device". I double-checked the config settings, and they match the Wiki's suggested setup.

2. When I boot up the machine, I get an error message of "Failed to initialize Infrared Remote Hardware". I've tried unplugging and re-plugging the IR sensor, restarting it through the Hauppauge program group, and reinstalling the latest IR software from their site. None of these fixed the problem.

3. I cannot get video on the TV! I configured the Omega drivers for the GF3 to override any non-detection of the TV, and then set it to run off the TV as the primary display. It seems to be feeding a signal at 320x240 at 100Hz, but all it does on the TV is flicker once or twice. However, I suspect the problem may be with the NTSC-to-analog adapter I am using, and I will bite the bullet and pay Radio Shack the $20+ they are asking for the same cable...

Thanks in advance for any help all of you may provide. I have attached the logs for my system.

Looking in the logs, it really looks like you dont have any PVR150 drivers installed:

FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar

Does the card work in the Hauppauge WinTV app?

I cant help you with that one. You might find some info on this over at http://www.shspvr.com/smf
