Playback plays grey scrambling...

My Hauppage 350 was working well with GBpvr until I noticed this week that my recordings are not playing.. When I click on the mpg file, it plays a scrambled grey screen with little grey squares.. All my recording are like that (weather I play them on my computer or TV).. It's weird.. It did not do that before ?

Any idea why ?

Does it look similar to this (attached picture)? Did you just update ATI Video drivers by any chance?

Tuner is connected to my Hauppage... And from my Hauppage to TV, I use an Svideo !

OK nevemind !! The problem was like you said.. My Tuner was not well connected

Ah-hah! I get something that looks remarkably similar to that.

Any idea how to fix it? The forum search seems to be broken at the moment, so I can't search for a resolution.

(I'm not sure from the threading whether that suggestion's aimed at me, or not...)

I managed to sort it out last night: using VMR7 instead of VMR9 Custom (static scrambled image, similar to above) or standard VMR9 (GBPVR menu image) seems to do the trick.

I was sure I'd already tried that, but obviously not. I think my memory's going...

Anyway, sub: thanks for all your effort. Even my wife's impressed with the new version.
