After installing 98.13, using ContourHC skin, I received error entering System plugin 'couldn't find ...._coreimages/background.jpg'. Copied the _coreimages folder from blue to ContourHC to resolve. Is this folder now required in all skins? It seems System is the only plugin that uses it.

Also, the screen saver was turned on, and I'd never seen it on before.

Can't wait to try '999' at home tonight.
What, me worry?

The more recent releases of GBPVR really changed the way skins work, so unfortunately a lot are going to be broken (unless there is an easy fix I don't know about, which could be as I am not a skin master). I was getting the coreimages errors on Advisor, so I just dropped back to Blue for now.

Copy the _CoreImages folder from blue to the skin of your choice that gives you these errors.

So, is this a bug or a new feature?

Shouldn't System\skin.xml specify the background image?

I'm home now and I just installed version 98.13. I tried sub's System menu and didn't have any probem.

How can I reproduce the problem mentioned above?

Remove the system skin file from your current skin and try.

Sub, it looks like this problem is related to some changes in the Blue skin. The question is: Is this a bug or a new direction?

P.S. Thanks Fatman for the pointer.

It'll just be some scenario with the skin fallback mechanism that has never tested before, causing it to fail to find some images in a relative path in the default skin. I'd never really used images outside of the current skin directory until this release.

Its unfortunate it wasnt noticed by any one during testing, but we'll have to live with it for now. I'll make sure this type of thing works for the next release.
