Transcode from DVR-MS to iPod format

I can see any reason why not.

You need to have the Cyberlink mux installed to convert from DVR-MS to anything else.

From what I've been reading it seems that ffmpeg can't go straight from DVR-ms to iPod. You have to go via an mpeg file first!

Correct, and GB-PVR takes care of this, by doing a quick remux to temporary .mpg file first, which is why I made comment about needing the Cyberlink mux.
