I have an ATI 550 Pro using the latest build (0.99.5). I'm splitting the cable signal between the HTPC and the STB. I'm trying to set up GBPVR so it can record directly off the internal tuner and switch to S-Video input to record off the STB if needed. Here are the steps I took to set up Capture Source.

First Capture Source:

Name: "AV1" with recording source set to "S-Video, External tuner"
EPG: "None"
Channel Changer: "none"
Added only 1 channel named "digital"

Second Capture Source:

Name "Cable" with recording source set to "Internal tuner"
EPG: "Zap2it"
Channel Changer: "none"
Channels added by updating the EPG

After adding the second capture source the following were observed:

1. The channel "digital" is visible in "TV Guide" but I can't get to it by surfing through the channels.

2. The channel "digital" is not listed under the "Channels" tab in the config program.

3. With only "AV1" under the "Capture Source" list, I can see the signal off my STB perfectly fine. However, the problem starts when I add another Capture Source.

I don't know what I did wrong, my method seem to copy the "fake" channel method completely (which I read by searching through the forum).

If you start live tv, can you switch to the "digital" channel?

Why? Is it not listed anywhere in the list, or does crash, or something else?

No, GBPVR isn't crashing or stalling. I just can't access the "digital" channel in Live TV. It is listed in the TV Guide but whenever I try to surf to it in Live TV, it would be skip completely. Could this be due to my EPG set up? It currently include digital channels which the internal tuner can't receive.

There is nothing that would cause a channel to be skipped.

Did you try entering the channel number allocated to it on the main channels tab of the config app.

Sorry for not replying Sub, been busy.

Since my cable channels starts at #2, I set "digital" source channel as #1. Now in "Live TV", I can scroll to that channel, but the input is exactly the same as Channel 2 while the Channel ident at the bottom clearly say "digital".

Sounds like you didnt set capture source to use the svideo input.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take look.
