Currently I have GBPVR setup running through a 150 card. I am trying to setup a secound card(ATI TV Wonder Elite). Everytime I click add and set my source up as such and click okay I get the following error:

The drivers for this card are not installed are you sure you want to save these setting?

yes or no

I have installed the cd that came with the card so I am not sure what it is talking about. When in the capture device tab it sees the card as such but doesnt reconize the drivers. Did I miss something? not check something? I am not sure. Any assistance would be great. Thank you in advance.

You need to make sure both of the devices are set to device #1.

If I do that, do I have to setup the channel changer, which is a hauppage remote for the device? EPG for that device? The 150 is setup on cable to channel 3, do I have to do the same for that card?

You only need to setup a channel changer if you need on in your setup (ie, controlling an external set top box). These two cards are entirely independent.

Just setup an EPG that has the appropriate channels for that card.

No.

Sub,
Thanks for the assistance and I will retry setting this up that way. This will allow me to record one show and watch another or record two shows and watch a pre recorded show, correct? Thanks again.

I use the hauppage remote to control the STB, which is plugged into the hauppage card. What do I need to actually setup on the ATI card to get it so that I can use it to record? Does it need to change channels or do I just set it to internal for the channel changer? Sorry I am kinda confused when it comes to how the 2nd tuner will actually work. Thanks again.

You just need to create a capture source for it.

I dont really now what type of setup you've got, but if you intending to use the tuner to tune in each of thes channels (ie, no set top box connected to the ATI), then you dont need a channel changer, so leave it set to 'none'.

sub,
here are my setting for the 2nd card(ATI):

recording source - direct recording plugin(fixed channel, cable,3)
epg - zap2it
channel changer - none

but when I try recording 2 shows at once both of the cards record the samething. Why is this or what must I change? Also below are the setting for my 1st card(150)

recording source - direct recording plugin(fixed channel, cable,3)
epg - zap2it
channel changer - .exe changer plugin

Thanks again for the quick assistance.
