I searched the forum and couldn't find anything specific to this. Apologies if I missed it.
I'm recovering from an enormous electric bill this past month, and am realizing it's likely due to the PC being on 24x7. So I'd like to take advantage of GBPVR's ability to wake from standby to record.
I understand that while recording, GBPVR will prevent Windows from going to idle standby.
My question is if this is true for playing a video as well. For example, if I start a video, and then pause it, is there a chance I could come back to find the PC in standby mode?
What I'd like to do is set Windows to automatically go to standby after a short period of time (10 minutes, say.) But I don't want to do that if it means it'll go to standby in the middle of a show.
Thanks!
