Playing videos in folders

Nebie question, but here goes....
I have my videos structured as follows:

\My Videos
\Video 1
folder.jpg
video1file.avi
\Video 2
folder.jpg
video2file.avi

i.e. one image and one AVI per folder.

When I select 'Videos' form the UI, I see a page full of the icon images for the folders. When I select the folder, I see the name of the file and the [..]. I then need to select the file and select 'Play'. Is there any way of getting the videofile.avi to play when I select the folder, or is the only way to put all of the video files in a single folder? If the latter, how do I get an image for each video file? I couldn't see any information on this in the Wiki....

change the name of the image from folder.jpg to videofilename.jpg (I forget if you need the extension of the video file or not)

Not a problem - just curious. Renaming the image to name.jpg works fine. I'll take a look at the video archive plugin too.
