Remote screwy in PVRX2

I am having trouble with using Hauppage remote (45 button) in PVRX2. It seems to work fine on the TV Guide screen, but not on the other screens. On the other screens, any time I try to navigate up/down/left/right using the remote, I get kicked back to the main menu sceen.

Maybe try clicking the 'fix hauppauge remote settings' button in the config app.

Tried that. Still have the same problem.

I installed a GBPVR patch a couple weeks to take care of the recorded show having the wrong name and channel in the database. I don't think the remote problem existed before that but cannot be positive.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. If it encounters an error, the message is logged in the logs and the user is returned to the main menu, which might be what you're having happen.

Logs attached. I went into Recordings, Video Library, and Picture Library. Each time I tried to navigate with the remote, it went back to the main menu. The TV Guide screen appears to work fine.

Sorry, you'll need to set you logging level back to 'debug'. Also enable log flushing while you're at it, then reproduce the problem and repost the logs.

Your problems seem to be caused by having part of a patch applied, but not the whole thing. Its hard to guess which patch it was (so I can tell you what exactly to reapply), but hopefully the attached files will fix it up for you.

While we're on the topic of screwy remotes, my Hauppauge 45 remote stops working in DVD mode. It allows me to pause a movie once and then it locks up PVR2 (ie no pause, no chapter forwarding or reverse, and no stop) and gives me a Not Responding error in the task manager. I've reset the IR for the remote and it still does it. Only seems to happen in the DVD mode though. Any suggestions?
