H.264 ATSC broadcasts in U.S. ?

I've just installed an HVR-1600 & started setting up all the ATSC channels I receive.

Each station has HD content then a some secondary channels boradcasting their SD content.

On of the SD Channels is PBS & according to GBPVR via the ctrl+w key combination is sending an SD H.264 stream.

Is that posible?
I wasn't aware they were using H.264 in the U.S.
I thought it was all HD mpeg2.

This was a bug in the current release. I forgot to implement the hooks to get the video type etc when viewing live tv on an analog card, so it shows some dummy data (which happened to show H.264). Its fixed for the next release.

Digital channels will already be showing the correct data.
