SNES playback looks blurry

I have an SNES hooked up to my Hauppauge card. GBPVR is the only thing I could find to get rid of the 3 second PVR delay. It works great, except that the aspect ratio stays in widescreen. I've tried changing it to 4:3 in the "playback" tab in the config but it doesn't change. I'm not sure if the aspect ratio is the only reason its blurry, but it is. It looks pretty bad.

Anyone have any recommended settings for a console hooked up to the composite input?

try f7 for changing your ratio
Theres the hauppauge tweak tool for image adjustments as far as bluriness goes. theres also the decoder you're using for video to contend with too, you might want to look at a new one, like maybe ffd show as you can add sharpening filters etc to make it sharper.
