Hi,

I have a hauppauge hvr1600. gb-pvr records shows just fine and I can play them back fine using the hvr1600 but when I playback using gb-pvr the picture is very jerky. I do have dual video cards, an ati radeon hd 3600 agp and a hd 2400 pci. The problem only occurs on the hd 2400 pci card.

the BDA mux is set to TS mux.
the only video renderer that seems to work for both video cards is EVR. Even though i use VMR9 on the hvr1600 it does not seem to work in gb-pvr playback.

Another minor problem is I would like to run in windowed mode be able to drag it to either screen then go to full screen using alt_enter. When I do that it will always pop over to screen 2 if the "start on second monitor is set:" and pop over to screen 1 if it is not set. I can change the config every time I want to move it but that is a bit of a pain.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Megan

How is the CPU usage when you've got this jerky picture going on?

Sorry, this is just a limitation you'll need to live. GB-PVR isnt currently capable of going fullscreen on a monitor other than the one it's configured to start on (due to some direct 3d initialization stuff that happens at startup)

2400's don't typically play hd video very well..just a bit underpowered..a 2600 does tho...
your 3600 is best bet when it comes to hd...look at the diff. in gpu and mem speeds in CCC..
and the 3600 has double the memory bandwidth and like 3 times the stream processors...

is the 2400 a PCI card? that would be another reason it can't do hd well..
i would use the 2400 for the 2d desktop andthe 3600 for video...
Hardware: HDHR Prime, HDPVR 1212, Raspberry pi2, VFD display w/LCDSmartie
