A couple of users had report that they used two capture source one the card (one svid/composite, one tuner), and GB-PVR wasnt realising they were the same card and allowing to recordings to be scheduled.

If you suffer from this, please email at support@devnz.com so I can diagnose further. Thanks.

Hi Sub

You probably know this but in the UK we get 5 channels as analogue terrestrial. I also have a cable box (on telewest) that I use an IR Blaster for and have it output on analogue channel 39. I have a PVR250 originally set up as follows:
Capture Source 1: 5 Analogue channels set up. BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Ch 4 and Ch 5.
Capture Source 1: Fixed Single analogue (external tuner) channel on 39 with IR Blaster for the cable box

(It's not a typo - I had both set to capture source 1 - is this correct?)

For the second of the above I missed out the 5 analogue channels from the cable settings if you get what I mean. I use the Radio Times XML grabber and had to set 2 seperate directories, each having their own channel IDs XML file to import into GBPVR TV guide listings.

All worked well except that it would permit the scheduling of 2 simultaneous channels - one on each of the capture settings. It would mess up the recording in various ways the details of which I can't remember. It didn't work at the time so I didn't use it.

I do not currently have this set up - I have a single capture source on channel 39 to get all channels, including those that I could also get via analogue reception, on cable. I would prefer the previous way but am stuck with the dual recording problem.

If you would like me to experiment just let me know how you would like me to set things up - be explicit so there is no margin for mistakes. I am willing but am going away for the weekend as of about 11am GMT. Wont be back until late Sunday night (GMT).

Cheers and best wishes for all the hard work you put in.
