System is a Compaq 900 MhZ desktop (AMD Athlon) with 384 megs of RAM running WinXP SP2 with a Radeon All-In-Wonder Video Card and a Hauppauge PVR-350 card.

Install of GB-PVR goes ok, but when I run the configuration piece and go to accept the changes I get an Unhandled Exception with a rather "long" list of error messages.

If I then reboot the system I can get GB-PVR to run, but it doesn't respond to the Hauppuage Remote, and won't do TV-Out. Which kind of limits the usefulness.

For grins I Dl'd Sage TV last night and was able to install it and get it working. But I want to use my MediaMVP and have the same interface, so I'd REALLY prefer to get GB-PVR working and make a donation here instead.

Any ideas?

TIA,
Ewan

have you got .net sp1 installed (or 1.1, err the latest version), thats sometimes the cause of these problems.

So what was the error message? Send you log files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

OK, have sent logs and error message along, and will now wait patiently (or at least as patiently as I can)...

Thanks [Image: biggrin.gif]

Well, got the pointers to the Unhandled Exception articles in Google, but none of them seem pertinent to my problem. I agree that it looks like it's a .Net configuration issue more than a GB issue, but the net result is that I can't run GB.

I'm tempted to reinstall XP except I'd hate to kill a day doing this and then find out I had the same error. Anyone who's had this error and been able to fix it with anything short of doing this?

Thanks,
Ewan
