While locked down at home I thought it would be good to try out v.5, I read on the Wiki that it will run with v.4.
This won't work for me as I cannot set it up.
When I try to run the web app with http://localhost:8866/index.html or from the system tray icon it tries to run the v5 web app but then switches to the v.4  web app http://localhost:8866/modern/index.html.
If I try anything else I get a browser 404 error message.

Does this mean I have to uninstall version 4 before I can test version 5??

If I try http://localhost:8866/settings.html I get

May check the v5 config.xml to confirm the the installer added the correct port and restart the v5 service

Looks like the correct port was specified in the config file

<WebServer>
<UseLiteServer>false</UseLiteServer>
<Enabled>true</Enabled>
<Port>8866</Port>
<Username>admin</Username>

I expect that 8866 is the value in both config.xml files.  The V5 file is in C:\Usesr\Public\NPVR-data ... you can edit the v5 config.xml to a value of, for example, 8867.

If you want to coexist with v4 change that to 8867
