GBPVR is working great, and this may not be the best forum to post this in, but it is the only PVR forum I know, so I am giving it a shot.

Whenever I turn my PVR box on (I turn it off each night because I dont record any morning shows and it makes some noise, though not much) the sides, top, and bottem of the screen are cut off when displayed on the TV. (ex. I can only see the very top of the start bar, and cant see the green start button). This persists on the desktop and in any program I open (GBPVR for example).

Now, if I open up the display options, and change the resolution to a different resolution and then back, it resizes to fit right, even though the setting is identicle to the setting when it starts up. Any idea on whats wrong or a way to stop this?

Its not really a GB-PVR problem, but rather your TV out on your video card. I dont know why your video drivers are doing. You could try updating to new drivers if they're available. Also a tool like powerstriip may enable you to adjust the extact location ect.

Alternatively you could check the start in window mode option, and create a link that starts GB-PVR with the -pos:x,y,w,h argument to create the window the right size for your tv.

Are you using an Epia by chance? Mine is doing the same thing, just not as much as you describe...

Try increasing or decreasing the refresh rate. There sometimes is a magical combination that works. If currently using 85hz, drop it to 80 or 75. If using 75, try going up.
You can never have enough tuners!
