For those that want to view DVDs from their hard drives on their MVP or PVR350, below was a post from another forum that I thought some people would be interested in knowing about.
There is so many tools out there, that its often difficult to find the exact one you need for a task like this, so here it is in nutshell:

Step 2: I then import that file into Womble MPEG Video Wizard and select Export. I only change the AC-3 audio to MPEG Layer II and hit Start. Only the audio is re-encoded.
The entire process is very fast and the resulting file is of excellent quality and plays just fine through the hardware decoder of the PVR-350
If a DVD has no copy protection I wont even use SmartRipper. I import into Womble direct from the DVD and proceed with Step 2.
