I've got two things on the new Videos details screens. First, when there are multiple items in the directory, I am prompted if I really want to delete an item when I select Delete, but on single file directories, it doesn't prompt, it just deletes.
Second, there is some inconsistency in what is displayed for the files. Here is a simple example, the files in the directory are:
Hi thanks for bringing npvr to android. I have my cable running through a video card to so that I can watch in a few different rooms without the need for extra boxes. I am unable to play the video card channel as it has no EPG (or am I missing something?).
imageGrabLite doesn't seem to be able to rename The Will Wheaton Project episodes. I've attached the log from the last attempt along with the XML imageGrabLite used to check the show. As I look at the log, IGL seems to be saying that there was no episode information for the show, but the episode info is in thetvdb.com, and NextPVR has the episode name in the EPG.
Running NPVR 3.2.9 with no issues. While trying out all the buttons on a new MCE remote I have managed to make the sound disappear during playback. No sound for recordings playback, or for downloaded AVI files playing back through NPVR. If I play media files with VLC player I get sound ok through the TV, it's only with NPVR that it's not working.
Using onboard sound and video from Asrock FM2A88M Extreme4+.
Attached are logs and screenshot of my decoder settings. Also is a screenshot of the PC volume mixer that shows NPVR and a green bar for sound, though none is coming through the TV.
All volume settings on the PC are at 100% and the TV volume is up enough.
The remote button pressing might be a red herring, but I think the button pressed when the issue started happening was the ENTER button, in the bottom right of the attached picture of the remote.
I have experimented with all the different Audio renderers to no avail, the main other one being Panasonic TV AMD High Definition.
I was having some problems with stuttery recordings, so I went back to an old HD image I had when everything was working, and installed 3.2.9.
Now I'm getting failed recordings, with Recording service not running once and a while.
Near the end (early morning), I have a series of recordings that failed. According to the "What's new", the Through the wormhole failed, but it is completely recorded in the directory. The next following recordings (I think it was food factory), did not record.
Another post mentioned to have the "out of process recording" box checked in the settings, and it was during this time.
I included some log files, that have a couple instances.
I was playing with the decoders, trying to find one that works better with the samsung app. I was using the LAV one, switched to the ff? one then I switched to the MS DVT one.
When I switched to the MS DVT one I got a blue screen then a reboot, now NPVR will not load. Any ideas on how to fix this?
This usb tuner had been collecting dust at my place for quite some time so I figured I'd fire it up using NextPVR. However, NPVR only shows me the BDA tuner and not the analog tuner. Back in the day this wasn't a problem for me since there were BDA broadcasts but not anymore.
Followed these instructions: http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...alogDevice
Tried adding every possible combo to AnalogDevice.xml, but the analog tuner won't show up. I am probably making a n00bish mistake, so can someone take a peek at the attached FilterCheck log. You will have my eternal gratitude
I want to apologize as I seem to remember getting a bit angry in the past on here. I'm not sure. Let's move on shall we? I am also visually impaired, so I hope this is the right place for this post and it hasn't already ben reported. I'm not good at forum navigation due to my poor vision.
I'm located in Bendigo, Australia and the Device setup is not detecting all available channels correctly. This is occurring on a windows 7 PC with a DVICO USB Tuner with the device listed as Bluebird BDA Tuner. The same inability to tune all channels also occurs on a Toshiba Satellite laptop with a built-in tuner.
The household has a distribution amp for the TV signals to 3 antenna outlets. The TV has no trouble receiving all available channels.
The notable part is that Windows media Center on both the PC and laptop has no trouble tuning all available channels. My digital recorder settings are:-
CI/CAM: None
Country: Australia
Region: Bendigo
Scan Offset Frequrncy (required by some devices in UK and Australia): Checked
After a scan, all channels show in the program interface such as TV listings and channels window. An attempt to select a channel that didn't appear in the scan window creates an exception shown in the attached screenshot and attached report text file.
If it's any help, the problem has existed since version 3.1.1 at least which I just rolled back to so I could test. A proper full uninstall was done. I have no earlier versions remaining on my system but I know I had it all working on one of those.
All channels are DVB-T and EPG is DVB/ATSC EPG
The fact that this problem occurs on two separate computers with different tuners and that Windows Media Center runs fine on both machines indicates that it is an issue with the NPVR software. Can you advise please? I'm happy to provide further information if need be.
