In Settings : Devices I was trying to get back to a fresh install and I deleted one of the ATSC tuners.

How do I add it back?

I also am having trouble setting up mc2xml in the current version.

The numbered list doesn't seem to match the current version.

For the recordings API is there a way to indicate default padding or does a client have to set it specifically (ie sending -1)

Can't get DVBT to work through XBMC. I posted about this a few months ago, but at the time it didn't always work directly in NPVR either, but with the latest NPVR update this seems to have changed

Just tried again with XBMC but this still doesn't connect to the radio. I can see NPVR recording the stream, but XBMC just hangs with it's 'working' popup.

Ripped a dvd. sound is distorted (when top of dynamic range) in MP4 and avi format Sounds clean on vlc but not through NPVR.

What playback system is used? I think it is native windows, but sounds clean with windows media player too.

Can anybody help?

i'm considering using this plugin; still pretty new to htpcs in general so still have a lot of learning to do.

would using this plugin with the rename allow tv shows to appear in XBMC under the "TV Shows" section?

is there an option to rename the files without downloading the artwork? (if I'm going to use with XBMC won't XBMC automatically download artwork for me anyways?)

and would you be able to describe how it maps a show from NPVR to a listing in theTVDb? is it pretty accurate? what fields does it rely on to do the mapping? I recently learned that the NextPVR database is just a SQLite databse file and so I opened that up and looked at it, which made me happy that I can start to piece together how things are working

Sub a few questions on merged channels since I don't use them

Does Channel.LoadAll() return all channels or are merged combined?

If they are combined do channelOID merged numbers share a channelOID or is it something elses

Fiinally for the returned individual channel in LoadAll how is this list created beyond 0

serviceType = channel.Mappings[0].serviceType

and could an app ever call anything but the first one?

I have seen this happen twice now. Once about 2 months ago and again last night so not version related.

My HTPC has 3 tuners 2 SD and a PCTV HD Nano stick.

Last night Wife was watching 1 channel, 1 channel recording 8 to 9pm with 2 mins pre & 3 mins post padding, both happen to be on different muxes.
About 20:45 wife leaves room leaving TV on. At 20.58 two more shows want to start recording, unfortunately they are on different muxes again - so the warning appears on screen do you want to watch one of the recording programs or go back to the menu. NPVR goes back to the menu and continues displaying the warning screen. At 21:03 the first recording finishes. At 21:06 the computer freezes solid. 30 mins later when I return the screen is still showing the Menu with the warning over it and a time of 21:06 Only a push of the reset button gets the computer going again. Both of the recordings end after 8 mins.
The previous occasion it was also at 6 mins pas the hour that the computer locked up.

Perhaps a time out on this screen would improve how it behaves.

Yesterday, I cancel a recording early that was finished, LAudition_20140407_21002302.ts in TV Listings

Then I went to record News Final_20140407_23000000.ts or CTV National News at 23:00 (one of the two were in conflict.) So I got prompted to cancel LAudition and one of the News Shows. But L'Audition was already stopped, So I pick that choice ... but somehow it was deleted :eek: ... did I respond to the wrong prompt ?!:

It happens often with 3.2.9 that I see conflict and even if I cancel one the conflicting recording before, there is no way to resolve the conflict in TV Listings.

I was able to record the rebroadcast later in the early hour of the morning, but that almost fail because PC went to sleep 2 minutes before recording another show at 2:31, it did wake up before l'audition at 3:02am :confused:
