When I start Nextpvr, the attached errors are provided (page 1). I then right click on the Nextpvr icon at the bottom of the screen to close all windows and the error goes away. The Nextpvr blue screen appears (Page 2). When I try to use live TV or other functions then the same error appears (page 3).
Also uninstalled and reloaded Nextpvr. Did not help.

I use OpenELEC on Intel NUC i3. Sometimes when I'm playing videos it just stops and returns to where I was. After that, I play the video again and it resumes from where I stopped. I tried many different videos and the problem keeps happening. I had a Raspberry Pi before I got the NUC and the same problem used to happen. I can't figure it out. Please help!!!
Moving NPVR from old system running Windows 7 62-bit to new system (I3-4130) 62-bit. The new system came with PowerDVD 10.
I have the tuner card moved and have performed the channel scan on both tuners and have mapped the EPG data. The EPG Guide is showing the correct data. I recorded a 30-minute program and the file was played back with video and audio using VLC. After playing around with the audio/video decoders I got NPVR to play back the file with video and audio. I had to install the LAV codec to get AC3 to work in NPVR. So I know that the tuners are working.
The problem is I get a blank screen (no audio or video) when trying to watch Live TV. Note: I do get the ...please wait... My decoder setting are:
Video Renderer: EVR
Audio Render: Default.
Music Render: Default.
Video Decoders:
MPEG@ Video: Cyber Link Video Decoder(PDVD10).
H.22 Video: LAV Video Decoder
Audio Decoders
MPEG1 Audio: LAV Audio Decoder.
AC3 Audio: LAV Audio Decoder.
E-AC3 Audio: LAV Audio Decoder.
I have tried Video Render: VR9 ( which is what I use on my old system) and still no audio/video with Live TV.
I have also checked Misc2: Use alternate OSD with missing video. With this setting on I get the EPG data at the bottom of the screen but still no video or audio.
Has anyone gotten NPVR up and running on a Windows 8.1 system?
Sub, log attached finally. Your db3 caused none of this, it cleared all except the front end connection which come with the db corruption after doing the R! patches. Thanks for the help.
When I added the R1 patches somehow my DB3 got corrupted. Sub sent me a clean empty DB3 and that cured all my woes, almost. Now I can no longer connect to the frontend (xbmc). xbmc says npvr did not start although npvr works great in all respects. The only thing I see in the logs is "unexpected error starting web server, file load exception, publickey token=null, or one of its dependences, parameter is incorrect". I'm not even sure this is associated with the problem, I would sure appriciated if someone could point me in the right direction.
I have the latest official version (Oct 2013) running successfully on a 64 Bit windows 8.1 system . I am using XBMC as a remote client on 2 remote PC's and the TV interface works quite well including HD channels I have 2x2 PCIE DVB-T2 tuners and 1 USB DVB-T2 tuner configured. The issue I have is that using a Web browser IE or chrome the web interface is missing the EPG data. I can view existing recordings and play them back successfully with VLC and all other WEB options appear to work except the EPG data display
Just upgraded to NextPVR, quite an improvement in setting up the devices I must say. Working out the bugs and I want to use the dvrms multiplexer instead of the ts. I got a much smoother file in gbpvr with the dvrms filter. Don't see any options in the settings screens, do I have to modify the BDA.ini, or is it even possible?
Hi there.
This may seem like an odd problem, but when I press ctrl-k to start recording, and I want to stop it, there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to abort the recording. I press escape, ctrl-s, but it still won't stop. Is there a key combo I can push to stop it or do I have to go into the web interface and stop it from there?
Hi there
Some Australian TV channels such as Gem and ABC news 24 have no sound when using the live TV option.
They appear to use the AC3 audio codec, but no matter which codec I try, I cannot get any sound to play.
I downloaded and tried out the AC3 filter, and configured next pvr to use it, but I'm still not hearing any audio. Do you know why is this and is there a fix for this? I've tried several other codec such as the one used with snapstream and KB radio but it still won't work.
Oddly enough, if I record the show with next pvr and then play it in gom player, I can hear the audio perfectly.
