Whenever someone reports a problem with an NMT, the first thing they are told is change your settings to one NMT, restart the service & recreate the problem. What I'd like to see is an optional suffix setting in each NMT's section in config.xml. If it is there, the log file for that NMT will have that suffix in its name. One could be "Den" & another "FamilyRm". In this example the logs would be MVPDen.log and MVPFamilyRm.log. If the suffix setting isn't found, then it would behave the same as today. This way if you have a problem, you could just grab the appropriate logfile.
I have a 2 min pre-padding and a 15 min post-padding, so a 1 hour show should be 1:17.
Last night, such a show stopped recording at 1:02.

The logs say that postprocessing started at 20:45, but Windows and Mediainfo think its only an hour long.
I have had this on a few different DVDs (VIDEO_TS rips) recently. It will start playing the DVD which happens to begin with a menu where you select the language. The Resume/Restart dialog will pop up but it won't respond to any remote commands and is stuck not responding until I kill NPVR. This will consistently happen until I manually delete the 'DVD.dat' file. I have attached the log.
I can't seem to get the dolby stream on my dvb-t recordings anymore.
It always defaults to the AAC stream.
I have tried to change the selection using the popup menu, but the interface just sits there with a frozen picture & no audio when I try to do that.
I'll post the logs of trying to change the stream when I get home, but is there a config option to force it to select AC3?
Is there also an option to have it only collect the h264 & ac3 streams like you could in gbpvr (and just dump the aac)
I know dolby works, as my hdpvr recordings play fine.
I can't get audio on PC client for Colossus recordings but all other recordings are fine. What decoder do I need to install on the client to get audio?
I've been trying and trying but I can't get Live TV to work at the same time as being able to play recordings on a client machine.
With a fresh install of 2.4.3 I can't get live TV to work but I can watch recordings. Patching as far as the live TV patch gets me live TV but then recordings won't play. If I then patch to the client playback patch then the recordings work (mostly) but I get the dreaded no tuner available problem with Live TV again.
Tonight I re-downloaded all the patches and stuck each one in turn into both the server and client machines (previously I just used the latest version of each file). Now I get neither live TV nor playback on the client.
I have the server nrecord and the client npvr logs for attempting to watch live TV attached. I'll take a run at the recordings playback logs tomorrow.
I've just recently upgraded from GBPVR using an old MVP that was working fine previously. Now with NextPVR I installed the MVPMC to get the .ts streaming support. Apparently I incorrectly identified the MAC address the first time when running the NMTInstall2, but everything "worked". What I did notice is the offset was not correct and the display was being clipped slightly. So after some research I realized the mistake and reran the install correctly and low and behold I started seeing the MVPMC menu and whenever I selected Emulation, it would eventually end up back on the MVPMC menu again... What I found is that if I removed the <MVPSpecificSettings></MVPSpecificSettings> section from the config.xml, it would work again, but all be it with the display alignment issues again. Can anyone explain what I should do to get this corrected? Thanks and sorry if this was asked before. I did not find it when I searched. The NMT Syntax Check gives me the following:

I'm running a nightly archiving process on Win7 (based on robocopy) which synchronises (and in the end should archive/move) all recordings with a Synology NAS (enabling streaming/DLNA afterwards). The only manual process currently is the export & edit & re-import of recordings in order to reflect the changed location of the files and to enable playing them in NPVR. Is anybody aware of a way to update the underlying SQLLite database from a bat file or something to reflect the changes in file locations an avoid having to manually edit the export file before re-importing them.
